All a garden can provide!

In this episode of
Fresh From the Garden, host Joe Lampl explores gardens and gardeners who contribute their time and energy to helping others. The first feature focuses on a community garden operated by a local recreation center in Decatur, Georgia. The center allows residents the opportunity to have a garden plot on the property, a luxury they're unable to enjoy at their homes for various reasons. The second half of the show highlights "Plant a Row for the Hungry," an organization that asks volunteers and other groups to donate a portion of the bounty from their garden to local seniors and other designated groups.
