Andrew and his wife Holland Mercer love to read magazines because they are both magazine editors. They constantly have to sift through piles of current magazines to find items they need to cross compare or reference. Host Amy Devers shows how to design and build a magazine rack that is low to the floor that sits like an end table but is designed to store magazines and make them easily accessible. The magazine rack is constructed out of plywood that is painted and lacquered and has stainless steel slats that support the spine of all the magazines. The spines of the magazines all line up at the top of the rack and that surface can be used as a tabletop.
