Lynda Bensky and her daughter love every room in their house except the kitchen, where they have a card table with folding chairs in the corner. She would like to replace this with a breakfast or cafe table that is more inviting and stylish. Host Amy Devers designs a small, contemporary kitchen table comprised of a clear plastic top that is molded to look like draped fabric. The transparent top sits on a simple metal base. The combination of metal and plastic updates the classic look of a cafe table.
