Dr. Rebecca Crandall's condominium has a beautiful floor-to-ceiling wall of windows, but she has a glass dining room table accompanied by two $1.50 plastic stacking chairs. She needs dining room chairs to complete the otherwise clean, modern look of her place. Host Amy Devers designs a set of dining room chairs made of a stainless steel welded metal base with a bent laminated seat made out of polypropylene covered with a white felt cushion. The effect is like an origami bird taking flight into the sky.
