In Ron Flemming's living room there is a shelf over the fireplace that doesn't fit with anything else. He has always wanted to replace it and find a way to display his collection of modern ceramics. Host Amy Devers builds a wall-supported custom display shelf. The base material is dark wood to complement the "eclectic" look in his home. Within the mantel there is a hidden compartment. The project applies classic woodworking techniques to a modern sensibility.
