In this episode, hosts Jay Baker and Scott Branscom replace a front door. The old door comes out easily enough once the casing has been removed. Baker uses a reciprocating saw to cut the nails holding it to the rough opening, then Branscom taps it out of the opening with a hammer and block of wood. The guys show how to shim the door and how to install longer screws through the hinges. Once the door fits properly, the hosts reinstall the casing and move on to the hardware. The finishing touch for this project is a brass kick plate.
