Floors, Doors and Windows workshop, the hosts Jay Baker and Scott Branscom replace a sliding patio door with French doors. They peel back siding on the house and pull out the old door. Then they prep the new door with spray adhesive and flashing, which goes all around the nailing fin of the door. Once the new door is in place, the guys realize they'll have to cut back some drywall inside the house and cut down some trim to finish is out. The new door fits perfectly, so they nail it into place and reattach the siding. While Baker stains the new door, Branscom takes care of the trim. Once that's installed, the final touch is new hardware.
