Sara and Trina Williams, sisters and roommates, are not thrilled with the look of their living room. The walls are plain white and their furniture, a mixture of vintage and contemporary pieces, is mismatched. They'd like a fun new style to reflect their colorful personalities, but they have no money to buy new furnishings.
The DIY Fresh Coat team takes this room from boring white to eclectic Victorian funky by using jewel tones (dark green, magenta, dark blues). A fun, stylish atmosphere that will be quirky and playful is created. The colors in a vintage rug bring out the natural beauty of the Victorian architecture. The fresh coat gives the furniture a more cohesive look.
