Detective Travis Williams has spent his professional life serving the community and protecting the general public as a Denver Police officer. Now, he turns his attention closer to home as he sets out to renovate the rickety old deck in his backyard. His wife, Mary Jo, and their kids have spent the entire summer out of state aiding her mother as she recovers from a car accident. They are set to return within the week. In just 48 hours, Travis is hoping to complete the new deck and paver-patio he designed in time to surprise his hardworking wife upon her return. He's going to need help, so renovation fanatic Gionni Thompson will lend a hand. During the week Gionni is a high school chemistry teacher, but on weekends he remodels houses. Travis hopes he and Gionni can get it done and reward Mary Jo and the kids with a new outdoor retreat. Will they finish in 48 or will Mary Jo take one step out the back door and fall into a pit of unfinished lumber and nails?
