Doll maker, Patti Culea, demonstrates how to create a unique 21st Century boudoir doll (a modern-day version of an elegant doll, draped in a skirt that fits over a pillow). First, Patti demonstrates how to use a pattern to create the doll's body and head out of fabric. Then, she draws a grid on the doll's face and uses colored pencils to draw in the doll's features. Next, Patti dresses the doll by draping silk fabric over it, creating the long, flowing skirt.
