Jake and Kristin are young newlyweds who really like style. Their home is filled with modern, relaxed furnishings with rich colors and clean lines. But the bathroom in their '80s home has an odd, maze-like layout with out-of-date styling. Host Amy Matthews will help the homeowners create a soft contemporary style that will bring it in line with the rest of the updated decor. In the final stages of this striking soft contemporary makeover things really get dramatic. We finish installing a corner hydro-massage shower that is pre-plumbed and has multiple body jets. Then we install an innovative snap-together porcelain tile that eliminates tile setting and grouting. We finish up with the contemporary double console vanities and a European push-button toilet.
