In this episode, Jay (host) and Jim (homeowner) construct the arbor that will cover much of the patio. Topic s include how to paint the lumber prior to installation, leveling and anchoring 6x6 posts into concrete, installing drop beams, or header boards, using a pneumatic palm nailer for the installation of joists, and how to install the final 2x2 beams that rest on the top of the arbor. The episode ends with the installation of the stainless countertops -- for the main counter unit and also for the raised bar seating area.
