In this episode, Jay (host) and Jim (homeowner) work with Tennessee Blue Stone. Topics covered include how to cut stone, how to prep the surface for veneer, mixing thin-set mortar, how to veneer a surface, and how to grout. Jay and Jim complete the stone veneer on the main counter unit and also on the sides of the brick fire pit. While the mortar is setting on the veneer, Jay and Jim complete the construction of the raised bar and seating area by anchoring all four legs to the patio and installing the countertop base.
