Jeff tells why he wanted to be his own contractor when he built his unique cabin designed to replicate a forest-ranger lookout tower. He also talks about the recycled materials he used in the construction and how he went about acquiring them. Jeff shares some of the experiences he went through getting his excavation, foundation, roofing and windows done. He also describes some of the work he did on the house himself.
