    Steps:

    1. Separate metal plates from magnets and set magnets aside. Sand metal plates in one direction (figure A).

    2. Clean with alcohol and let dry.

    3. Spray sealant and let dry. Return metal plates to magnet, sealed side up, with magnets apart.

    4. Mix one part precious metal powders to three parts water-based medium.

    5. Ink stamp pad foam with precious metal powders and use it to ink the rubber stamp (figure B).

    6. Stamp image onto one metal plate (figure C) and set aside to dry.

    7. Size clipart to 1-1/4" x 2-1/4".

    8. Coat the clipart three times with OmniGel. First in a vertical direction and let dry; then in a horizontal direction and let dry; and third in a diagonal direction and let dry (figure D).

    9. Trim the transfer, leaving it at least 1/4-inch larger on all sides than the magnet.

    10. Position the last metal plate onto the transfer. Press down and the transfer will stick to the plate (figure E). Rub against surface while applying pressure to burnish.

    11. Turn the metal plate over with the transfer in place so that the piece sits on table transfer side up. Cover with nonstick paper.

    12. Attach the transfer by ironing with a tack iron at 225 F degrees for 30 seconds (figure F). Trim the transfer to size of metal plate (figure G). cds1533_3e

    14. Wet paper backing and rub to peel away (figure H).

    15. Use a wet lint-free towel to remove any lint (figure I).

    16. Spray with acrylic sealer for protection and let dry.

    17. Put the magnets together and your money clip is finished.
