    Steps:

    1. Cut a piece of the Sheer Heaven paper to fit the plastic tube of the light (figure A), approximately 1/4 inch shorter than the vertical length of the tube and 1/4 inch wider than the horizontal length (figure B).

    2. Sponge the brown ink onto the cut piece of paper, covering completely (figure C).

    3. Spray the inked paper with rubbing alcohol to create "dots" (figure D). Heat set with a heat tool to speed up drying.

    4. Stamp designs on the paper with black ink, creating a border on the bottom and random Petro designs in the center and top (figure E).

    5. Apply a piece of super sticky tape on one end of the paper. Tightly wrap the paper around the plastic tube and adhere with the taped end pressed against the other end to create a "sleeve" (figure F).

    6. To faux rust the base (figure G): Heat Magic Mould with the heat tool till soft and then press onto a pile of raffia. You now have a textured stamp.

    7. Squeeze a small amount of mahogany ink onto a paper plate and, using a make-up sponge, dab ink all over the lamp base (figure H).

    8. Squeeze a small amount of terra cotta Decor-It ink onto a plate and rub the textured stamp in it to pick up some ink. Randomly dab all over base to create a rusted look (figure I). Let dry. Place decorated tube on top.

Tip: Create lots of different paper sleeves to match your mood or seasons! Great for baby's room, bathrooms or to place in windows at Halloween or Christmas.
