The Carol Duvall Show cameras visit Phil Coghill, an artist who creates kaleidoscopes using stain glass and soldering, fused and slumped glass, plus turned wood and metal. Coghill exhibits his wares at the Festival International de Louisiane. Each of his scopes relies on inside mirrors to create fascinating patterns, incorporating a variety of styles and mirror systems to achieve the effect, but the shape of the kaleidoscope actually dictates the patterns revealed.
