Project designed by Doris Arndt. Materials: three, six-inch squares of yellow paper three, three-inch squares of card stock 18 inch piece of ribbon bead to fit on ribbon pencil multi-colored stamp pad fish stamp Steps: 1. Fold one square of yellow paper in half horizontally (figure A). Open it and fold it in half vertically (figure B). Open it again and fold it in half diagonally to form a triangle (figure C). 2. Push the two bottom corners of the triangle in between the two layers of the paper to form a diamond shape (figure D). 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other two yellow squares of paper. 4. Glue all three folded pieces of paper together, one on top of the other. Be sure that the open points line up together (figure E) and the closed points line up together. 5. Stamp the fish stamp on top of the diamond, placing the fish's mouth at the closed points (figure F). 6. With a pencil, draw an outline around the fish, leaving about a 1/4-inch border (figure G). Cut out the fish (figure H). 7. Open each layer and stamp a fish (figure I). 8. Place the fish onto two stacked pieces of square card stock and trace. Cut out. 9. Add glue on top of the yellow fish and place a piece of ribbon across the length of the fish's body (figure J). Add more glue and place one card stock fish on top of the ribbon (figure K). Glue the other card stock fish to the bottom of the yellow fish. 10. Open the ends to display the ornament. Place a bead over the ribbon to hold the ornament open.
