    Steps:

    1. Cut one 8" x 16-1/2" piece of chenille for the chair back and one 10" x 13" piece for the chair cushion.

    2. Pad the top and sides of the foam with bonded batting (figure A). Trim the excess batting as needed and glue in place (figure B). Wrap the 10" x 13" piece of chenille over the padded chair cushion with the ends meeting on the bottom side of the cushion (figure C). Glue the chenille securely in place, adding extra glue to the bottom where the legs will be attached. Fold the corners to cover the sides (figure D). Glue in place.

    4. Fold the chenille chair back piece in half (4" x 16-1/2") with right sides together (figure G). Machine-sew along the long edge, using a 1/4-inch seam allowance. Turn and lightly stuff the tube with fiberfill. Hand-gather the ends 1/2 inch from the edge, using six strands of floss. Pull the floss to gather (figure H), tucking the raw edges inside the tube. Knot and trim the threads. Wrap the tube along the sides and back of the cushion seat to create the arms and back of the chair (figure I). Glue the tube to the cushion, seam side down.
