Host Carol Duvall talks via telephone with viewer Christine Conley who wrote to Carol saying: Well thanks to you, I have no money, no time and enough craft supplies to stock a small country, but I've never had more fun in my whole life. I now own a pasta machine and I don't make pasta, I own every cookie cutter known to man and I don't bake cookies and I have surgical blades but I'm not a surgeon. I guess I'm a crafter. Definitely a crafter, Conley has spent much of her time at craft fairs, but she hasn't been as financially successful as she wishes to be. Her crafting ventures started after her husband bought her a satellite dish for her 50th birthday and she began watching The Carol Duvall Show. At Conley's first craft fair, she paid $40 to attend the show and she sold $32 worth of her crafts. But this didn't stop her. She has attended a lot more craft shows since then, but she doesn't like spending all of her weekends at craft shows. She later started a Web site in an effort to sell her crafts. However, it's expensive and not very successful. Despite the complications, Conley has yet to give up, and first and foremost, she loves to craft. "I'm having a wonderful time," she says, "and the thing that kind of saves me is that I'm just doing interesting things that I like. What's the worst thing that could happen? I have a house full of really nice things that I could give to people."
