    Project designed by Jane Beard

    Materials:

Museum of Modern Rubber rubber stamps
    - small snowflake - #F-830
    - medium snowflake - #H-829
    - large snowflake - #M-828
window or mirror to stamp on
    white metal craft paint
    blue iridescent ink
    small foam brush

    Instructions:

    1. In a bowl, mix a few drops of the iridescent ink into a small quantity of the white metal craft paint (figure A). The amount of ink can vary depending on the desired appearance.

    2. Brush a thin layer of paint onto the stamp (figure B) and let paint set for a few minutes until it becomes tacky. Brush on a little more paint, then let it set for a few minutes.

    3. Select a window or mirror, making sure that the surface is clean and dry. Stamp the snowflake onto the glass. Use two hands to keep the stamp steady. Be careful not to rock or twist the stamp so that it does not smear.

    4. Repeat the snowflakes around the edge of the window or mirror.
