    Materials:

1 lb. of melt and pour glycerin soap base
cookie cutter shapes open on both sides
gel-tone soap colorant or food coloring
fragrance "Skin Scentials" or cooking extracts
    microwaveable bowl or double boiler
    pastry knife
cutting board - glass or plastic recommended
    spoon or stirring stick

    Steps:

    1. Cut off 1/2" of soap and melt in the microwave or double boiler until it liquifies.
    2. Pour melted soap onto a cutting board.
    3. Immediately place cookie cutters onto the melted soap.
    4. Allow the soap to harden. They will form a seal around the cookie cutters so that you can later fill them with colored soap.
    5. Cut off enough soap to fill your cookie cutters. Melt in the microwave or double boiler.
    6. Add colorant and fragrance. Use 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of scent per pound of soap.
    7. Pour soap into the cookie cutter shapes.
    8. When soap has hardened, remove cookie cutters from cutting board and gently push soap out of the cutters. The soap is ready to use right away.
