For the hardcore stamper, what could be a more wonderful gift that a complete set of colored pens? The ZIG Scrapbooking Kit contains four 12-pen sets of twin-tipped, acid-free pens. Because all the pens are double-ended (with twin tips), you get two-in-one in each case. There is one set of Fine- and Chisel-pointed pens for lettering, one set of Scroll and Brush pens for borders and doodles, one set of Calligraphy pens with both wide and fine points, and one set of Writer pens with both fine and wide points.

For budding videographers who videotape the memorable events in their family life and important day to day activities, a new Custom Video Labels and Covers CD-Rom software from Dog Bytes can help to make the storing and stacking of all those tapes not only more efficient, but more colorful and interesting. Print out your own covers with all the necessary notes and information along with appropriate artwork. Even computer-novice Carol printed out a colorful cover for the family Christmas tape. A nifty gift to give to yourself or to any computer-involved friend or family member.

From the Shoe Box came another viewer contribution, this one a Christmas card sent to Carol from Betty Hammock of Pittsburgh, Texas. Betty found some delightful Christmas fabric with a fireplace scene to "wreath" over the fireplace then stacked it over fleece and stitched around various objects in the scene to quilt it. She then printed out her address and a holiday message to Carol on a piece of fabric, which she had ironed to freezer wrap so it would go through the printer. After peeling off the freezer wrap she backed it to the quilted piece and bordered everything with a strip of compatible fabric. To make certain that it would go through the mail, she even hand-stitched the stamp in place. It worked and Carol received it in good shape and good order.

Also in the Shoe Box were a letter and photo from Frankee Migliorisi, who had seen the show where Carol demonstrated how to turn a decorative shopping bag into a clock. Frankee found some wonderful Christmas shopping bags, filled them with inexpensive soft toys that she bought and a couple of wooden toys that her husband made, added the clock and decided it was the perfect gift to meet her personal requirements...a Christmas decoration that was also inexpensive and handmade. It was also very attractive. Frankee made seven for seven special friends.
