In this final episode of DIY's Build a Deck, the time is devoted to looking at some extreme -- and innovative -- decks. This first one is a work of "overhanging" art.

In this final episode, host Jeff Wilson and Hamilton Brock, project manager of Graham Vannoy Construction, Inc. take the viewer on a tour of some "extreme" decks. This episode will highlight five unique decks: 1) a deck that is perched over 100 feet off a mountain bluff to a circular deck, 2) a deck built with a circular design, 3) a deck that reflects its natural surroundings, 4) a deck featuring cedar wood with a built in screened porch and 5) a deck built with a custom waterfall off of the end. Wilson and Brock also share tips along the way and explain that each of these decks was built, in many ways, with common features found in our deck project covered in the first four episodes of this workshop.
