    If the instruction manuals and warranties for your appliances are scattered around the house, consider organizing and storing them in a three-ring binder (figure A). Punch holes in the papers and booklets, using a three-hole punch (figure B), and arrange them by category within the binder. If you'd prefer not to punch holes in the documents, store them in plastic sleeves designed to fit in binders.

    A mousetrap can do more than kill rodents: use one as a clip to hold papers on the wall (figure C). Pop out the bait holder, using a flat-head screwdriver (figure D), and remove the wire from the end of the trap. Drill a pilot hole, and attach the trap to the wall.
