This "Who Ya Gonna Call" 9-1-1 album serves an important purpose: helping kids visually identify important people and numbers in the event of an emergency.

The easy-to-assemble "I-Spy" album quiets the question of "are we there yet?".

- Kids often produce artwork that's difficult to display because of size or shape. One way to showcase artwork -- without taking up the entire fridge--is to include the works in a scrapbook (figure A). Here, Tanner photographs artwork (or children holding their creations), frames the photograph and slips it into a scrapbook protector page.
- Tanner's young daughter created a "My Best Friends" album to remember special times with childhood friends. Drawings, photographs and journaling (figure B) are combined to bring her experiences to life on the page. To give the album a finished look, Tanner places a ribbon flat against the inside-cover surfaces (both front and back) and covers with artwork drawn on "peel-and-stick" pages (figure C). To finish, she closes the album and ties the ribbons into a bow (figure D)
- The practical "Who Ya Gonna Call?" scrapbook is designed to assist kids in visually identifying important people and contact numbers. It can be especially helpful for younger kids who haven't yet learned to read.
- The "I Spy" travel book is created by filling a small book with laminated pages of stickers or clip art. Simply attach a sheet of stickers (in this case, stars were used) that can be adhered to the pages when that item is spotted. The stickers are removable, and the book can be used repeatedly to keep kids occupied.
