A special cutting system can not only crop photos into a perfect shape, but its adjustable blade can allow corresponding mats of different sizes to be easily cut. Figure A

Dawn James shares a special cutting system with DIY Scrapbooking host Sandi Genovese.

• The cutting system comes with different patterns and blade attachments. The semi-transparent surface allows for easy viewing of images during cropping (figure A).

• Because the system can be adjusted for different sizes, it's easy to crop photos, then create corresponding single, double or triple mats in different colors.

• The system can also create long, decorative borders for use on page edges or for titles.
