Let masculine colors and sports themes fuel your next project -- as designer Leslie Frederick did with this racing page.
- Mount red paper on top of black paper at an angle. Adhere, and then turn page and cut red corners extending past black page. Set the corners aside for future use.
- Cut strip of wire mesh 2" x 11-1/4" and fold in half. Round top corners (figure A) on opposite edge from fold so that the wire resembles a bumper when open. Use glue dots to adhere mesh to page.
- Punch out two circles from silver paper for headlights. Use silver "headlights" to hide glue dots (figure B) holding mesh in place.
- Cut triangles from red, silver and wire mesh.
- Cut word "Racing" with a template or die-cut letter style that has a shadow. Cut shadow from black and white checked paper, then cut top word from black (figure C).
- Cut two photo mats 4-1/2" x 6-1/2". Assemble page as shown.
