The same design is continued throughout the A to Z album. Each page includes a letter, sticker design and a photo that corresponds to each letter.

In the journaling or "story", Potter highlights the featured letter every time it appears.

In this example, "A" is for airplane, so an airplane sticker is used as additional embellishment.

Creating an ABC Book is a delightful way to encourage kids as they learn to read. Creating one is easier with the use of a kit. Here, designer Tami Potter shares her A to Z alphabet book with DIY Scrapbooking host Sandi Genovese.

    Materials:

    8-1/2" x 11" album
    White cardstock
    FrameDuets, Alphaduets and Paper Strips
    Assorted stickers, die-cuts and punches
    Adhesive
    Photo squares
    Herma transfer

    1. Select 26 photos -- one in which the theme of the photo corresponds with a letter of the alphabet.

    2. Select a coordinating frame, letters and paper strip for each page. Adhere the 2.75" x 11" strip (or cut your own) down the outside edge of the page.

    3. Use stickers, corners punches or die-cuts to embellish the frames, then attach to each photograph.

    4. Combine foreground and background Alphaduet shapes. Adhere letter along additional embellishments to paper strip.

    5. Create a title, using the corresponding page letter (example: Z is for Zebra).

    6. For more punch, use a bold letter where the corresponding letter appears in your journaling.
