The photo wheel is easily turned thanks to a slit on the right side of the album page.

Instructions and templates may be viewed by using

    1. Begin by printing and trimming the photo wheel template. Use craft knife to cut away the frame placement rectangle and one photo shape. Then, cut or punch away the small center hole.

    2. Determine frames and photos to use on the page. Reserve 4 photos and the filmstrip frame for the photo wheel.

    3. Then, create the photo wheel by tracing outside the circular photo template onto yellow paper (figure A). Cut the photo wheel from the paper.

    4. Next, use guide to mark the center and trace on photo shape onto the yellow circle. Turn the guide and re-align center and side of photo shape.

    5. Repeat technique for all 4 photos, using guide to photo shape over each photo before tracing. Trim photos and adhere in place on the yellow photo wheel (figure B).

    6. To create a double filmstrip, first stamp motif onto opaque sticker paper, then cut around the 2 filmstrips (cutting one end just outside one of the vertical division lines). Be sure to cut the same end of both frames, then turn one upside down.

    7. Peel away 1/2" of backing and attach one division line over the other. Use black marker and white correction pen to touch up any flaws. Then, cut inside double frame, leaving tiny white edges. Attach photos to left opening and both tiny end openings. Leave the right side for the photo wheel.

    8. Then, cut remaining frames, leaving tiny white edges inside and outside.

    9. For placement of frames onto photos, peel away one side of backing and lightly place on photo, adjusting if necessary. With photo in place, turn upside down on flat surface. Holding the loose end of photo, carefully peel away remaining backing fromthe frame. Smooth photo over the sticky frame and replace backing until ready for placement on page.

    10. Arrange photos on album page with backing in place. Decide arrangement and select placement of photo wheel, then place guide over the arrangement, adjusting as necessary. Then, mark the center through the hole in guide.

    11. Move double filmstrip and re-align guide with center marking. Trace frame shape onto the album page.

    12. Next, re-align to mark the photo wheel opening on the right hand side of the page (this will allow you to turn the wheel). Mark a tiny dot outside circle guide on album page at the arrows. Set photos aside and cut slit and frame opening in album page between the dots.

    13. Remove the backing from one side of double filmstrip frame and place over opening on album page, adjusting as needed. Remove remaining backing and smooth down gradually over the opening. Re-trim inside edges if necessary.

    14. Then, adhere remaining framed photos in place using the same technique.

    15. Stamp, cut and arrange additional motifs on cardstock and adhere to the page. Write on stamped images as needed, then use same technique to carefully smooth into place.

    16. Finally, slide the yellow wheel from back of album page into slit. Attach with brad (figure C) through centers, using foam dot to attach an embellishment to conceal the brad.
