This New Arrival showcases the best of two photos.

Suzanne McNeill salvages the best parts of photos by cropping around the main focus or the photo, or by simply cutting the background away from the photo subject -- as she did on this delightful new baby page.

    Materials:

2-3/4" x 4-1/8" oval photo cut with Stamp scissors
    3" x 4-1/2" oval for stork body
    1-1/4" circle for stork head
    1-5/8" circle for stork beak
    1-1/2" circle for stork tail
1/8" x 4-1/2" strip and 3/4" star punch to create stork legs and feet
    Silhouette photo of baby
3-1/2" teardrop and 3/4" heart punch for bag
3-1/2" heart cut with stamp scissors
    4" pink heart
1/2" strips cut with wavy scissors for borders
    5/8" sticker letters

    1. Cut border using wavy scissors and place around edge of background paper.

    2. Cut and punch pieces for stork. Piece together on scrapbook page.

    3. Cut 2-3/4" x 4-1/8" oval photo with Stamp scissors and place atop stork body.

    4. Cut out 3-1/2" teardrop and 3/4" heart punch for bag.

    5. Cut around baby in photo to create a silhouette. Adhere baby silhouette next to stork, then layer the large teardrop over baby to give the appearance of a stork's bag.

    6. Cut out 4" heart and 3-1/2" heart cut with stamp scissors to create journal area. Layer and adhere to page.

    7. Create title "Our New Arrival" with sticker letters.
