Follow this technique from Joy Macdonell and use your scraps to add dimension, depth, and strength to your scrapbook pages. - Select the photographs and color scheme for your page.
- Crop and mat your photographs.
- Complete all journaling, then mat the journal box.
- Create and mat title.
- Arrange your photographs, title, and journal box on a piece of cardstock.
- Take a look at the scraps left over from the matting process. Begin picking up the scraps and arrange them behind the photos. Think about how the colors can balance your page. Add lines of color to create movement. Play with scraps and be amazed at how you can create a dynamic scrapbook page!
