Just as extreme sports require great skill on the part of the participant, so does scrapbooking extreme pages. Designer Leslie Frederick shares supplies and "moves" to add to your croppin' skills.

    Grind

    Materials:

    Scissors or craft knife
    Cutting board or work surface
    Extreme sport cut-apart page
    Paper trimmer
    Asphalt print paper
    Foam squares
    Small brads
    Adhesive

    1. Using scissors or a craft knife and cutting surface, cut out the following elements from the Extreme sport cut-apart page: knee pads, bars, helmet and the word "Grind".

    2. Next, use paper trimmer to cut squares and rectangles for photo mats from asphalt paper. Mount the asphalt squares and rectangles to background page.

    5. Punch holes in helmet where straps seem to attach. Add mini brads (figure A and adhere helmet.

    6. 7)Mount knee pads one on top of another using a foam square (figure B) to give dimension to top pad.
