Combine colored paper strips, tags, coordinating eyelets and tinsel to create a unified page, as demonstrated by designer Emily Waters. Materials: Double-sided cardstock (with a different color on each side) White cardstock Eyelet letters Eyelet setter and hammer Twistable tinsel Tags Scissors - Tear a 3" x 6" strip of white cardstock. Mount on the dark side of double-sided cardstock and trim to leave a thin outer border.
- Trim seven 3/4" x 2-1/2" strips of double-sided cardstock. Mount on white cardstock alternating dark and light sides. Place haphazardly, slanting strips vertically in different directions (figure A).
- Place eyelet in the holes of tags. Use a eyelet setter and hammer to attach eyelets to tags. Thread a 2 '/2" piece of red twistel through eyelets and tie.
- Use straight scissors to trim the top off of each eyelet letter. Mount eyelet letters on tags and mount tags on title (figure B).
