    Figure B

Combine colored paper strips, tags, coordinating eyelets and tinsel to create a unified page, as demonstrated by designer Emily Waters.

    Materials:

Double-sided cardstock (with a different color on each side)
    White cardstock
    Eyelet letters
    Eyelet setter and hammer
    Twistable tinsel
    Tags
    Scissors

    1. Tear a 3" x 6" strip of white cardstock. Mount on the dark side of double-sided cardstock and trim to leave a thin outer border.

    2. Trim seven 3/4" x 2-1/2" strips of double-sided cardstock. Mount on white cardstock alternating dark and light sides. Place haphazardly, slanting strips vertically in different directions (figure A).

    3. Place eyelet in the holes of tags. Use a eyelet setter and hammer to attach eyelets to tags. Thread a 2 '/2" piece of red twistel through eyelets and tie.

    4. Use straight scissors to trim the top off of each eyelet letter. Mount eyelet letters on tags and mount tags on title (figure B).
