Don't be puzzled by this technique! It's easier than you think, but can provide awe-inspired reactions. Here, guest Tricia Morris shows Sandi Genovese how to create an glittery interlocking frame that opens to reveal a page layout inside.

The interlocked frames open to reveal the photo layout inside.

    1. Mark and score the long side of an 8.5" x11" sheet at 2.75" and 8.25". Fold the paper at the scored lines. The two folded edges should meet in the precise center of the page.

    2. Stamp and emboss the frame stamp with Copper Tinsel Powder onto paper. Apply heat for about a minute to make the design permanent, then cut out the frame at the outer perimeter.

    3. Use a ruler and pencil to draw a line on the back of the stamped image to mark the center. This line will be used as a guide for applying adhesive.

    4. With a personal trimmer or craft knife, cut all frames apart (figure A).

    5. Use a glue stick to adhere the frames to alternating sides of the flaps, creating an interlocking opening (figure B). Use the centerline on the back of each frame as a guide for the adhesive.

    6. Complete the page with photos, journaling, stickers and other embellishments.
