    Tie-Dye Glitter Swirling

Achieve gorgeous results with this simple technique for creating multi-color glitter designs.

    Materials:

    Scrappy glue by Magic Scraps
    Glitter Grabbers (cupped tweezers)
    three colors of glitter
    cardstock

    1. Use the scrappy glue (or any other type of glue that's made especially for working with glitter) to write or draw a design. If necessary, trace over letters or a design drawn in pencil.

    2. Use the cupped tweezer to scoop glitter and randomly sprinkle all three colors over the wet glue.

    3. Swirl the paper and tap as needed to ensure even coverage, then allow to dry thoroughly.

For best results, consider writing in pencil, then tracing the letters with special glue designed for use with glitter.

The small plastic cupped ends of these tweezers allow for each "scooping" and placement of glitter. The plastic used also diminishes the static that can make working with glitter tedious.

After covering the twisted rope with glitter, it can then be braided with other materials to add sparkle and dimension to the page.
    Glitter Rope Writing

Use special adhesive tape to create three dimensional glitter art.

    Materials:

Scrappy tape by Magic Scraps (1/4", 1/2" or 1" tape--also called red-line adhesive)
    an assortment of glitter colors
    cardstock

    1. Cut a length of tape, peel off the protective coating, then twist the tape to form a rope.

    2. Position the tape on cardstock in the desired shape, then cover with glitter. Alternately, cover the twisted tape with glitter, then weave or braid with other glitter-covered ropes (or any fiber or ribbon you desire) to create the design.
