... with another change of color (this time warm oranges, gold and deep reds are used), a fall-themed album is created. Watch as designer Lynn Damelio uses the same stamps to create this album.

Designer Lynn Damelio demonstrates how one stamp -- and various shades of acrylic paints -- can be used to create albums and pages for different seasons.

    Materials:

    Small Rose Leaves (2862D) stamp
    Daisy Stem (2873E) stamp
    Daisy Blossom (2874C) stamp
    Gerbera Daisy (2867H) stamp
    Flesh-colored acrylic paint
    Deep, spicy red acrylic paint
    Golden yellow acrylic paint
    Avocado green acrylic paint
    Moss green acrylic paint
2 pieces 5" x 7" illustration board (for album cover)
Ivory paper (to cover illustration board)
Ivory paper (for accordion fold - desired width 5")
    Deckle-edged scissors
    Archival glue
    Assorted shades of acid-free paper
    Photo corners
    Old dictionary or book pages
    Old postage stamps
    Twine
    Dried leaves or flowers
Ellison die-cut tags and small envelopes
    Hole punch
    Wedge sponges
    Paper plates
    Scissors
    Baby wipes
    Paper towels

    1. Cut two pieces of ivory paper large enough to cover the illustration board and adhere with archival glue.

    2. Cut another piece of ivory paper to the desired width for use inside the album. Accordion fold this piece to fit inside the two covers and set aside.

    3. Cut dictionary or book page into small sections and adhere several pieces to the front cover.

    4. Pour a small amount of each color of acrylic paint onto paper plate. This will serve as your painter's palette.

    5. Use a wedge sponge to pick up small amount of paint, then apply to stamp to a blotting motion (figure A). Use a separate sponge for each additional color used.

    6. Stamp image onto cover. Reapply paints and stamp again. Clean stamp well before changing color combinations. Continue stamping images onto the cover as desired ( figure B).

    7. Adhere a small envelope (with stamped tag inside) to the cover. Stamp with same motif, then add postage stamps and dried leaves to create a collage. Set aside.

    8. Arrange layout on accordion-folded inside pages. Stamp and add dictionary pieces -- treating the accordion fold as one page -- over the entire page surface.

    9. Crop and adhere photos to the accordion pages, adding tags, postage stamps and photo corners as you go.

    10. Add handwritten or computer-generated captions.

    11. To complete the album, glue the inside between the front and back covers and allow to dry thoroughly.
