The same technique can be used to create a page for any season. Here, pastel markers are used to create "spring" leaves.

Designer Jill Miller creates a fall-themed page -- complete with textured leaves!

    Materials:

    Muted green paper
What's New Ltd. Tuscany Leaf paper
    Jumbo Leaf Punch
Light green and brown brush markers
    Adhesive
    Cotton swab

    1. Trim 1/2" from all sides of Tuscany leaf paper. Mount to green paper. Before mounting, trim a portion of the paper away (figure A) from an area that will be covered in the following steps (the excess can be used to punch additional leaves or for other projects).

    2. Next, trim a second sheet of green paper 1-1/2" on all sides and punch with leaf punch 4 times.

    3. From green paper scraps, punch 4 more leaves. Repeat with Tuscany leaf paper.

    4. Use fingers to crunch all punched leaves, then spread them all open. To intensify creases, brush with broad side of the brown and green markers (figure B).

    5. Mount leaves to page with dimensional foam tape.
