This storybook chronicles baby Dillon's birth, but a storybook album can be created with almost any theme. To create this popular album type, watch this short video.

Designer Bev George uses a mini scrapbook kit to create a baby "brag" book.

    Materials:

    mini scrapbook starter kit
    decorative gel pens
    stickers and die-cuts
    chenille stem
    ribbon

    1. Decorate mini album cover by layering a photo and pre-printed frame (figure A). Tip: Run a photocopied color photo through a sticker machine to add adhesive backing.

    2. Embellish the cover by applying border stickers (figure B) and other small embellishments around the framed photograph.

    3. Assemble book and sheet protector. Lace ribbon through binder holes. Tip: Use a chenille stem to make threading easier (figure C). Fill album with the cardstock included in the kit.

    4. Mount photos on patterned/printed papers and personalize album as desired.
