Beagle added jute to secure pop-out die-cuts to the page, as well as adding embellishment. The title was mounted on red cardstock and finished with a touch of acid-free glitter glue.

These dots have dimension! Beagle used foam dots to mount them to a pre-printed topper.

This delightful Easter topper was created by running diaphanous plaid ribbon through a Xyron sticker machine. Once the adhesive was applied to the ribbon, Beagle used it as a background, applying die-cuts over it.

Lacking time to devote to creating fabulously elaborate titles? Did you know that by embellishing pre-printed titles you quickly and easily create a polished look on your pages? Designer Debra Beagle shares a few techniques with host Sandi Genovese.

    • Embellish pre-printed titles with stickers or die-cuts in complementary themes and colors. Use acid-free adhesive to adhere, and consider elevating the elements with foam dots or mounting tape.

    • Use ribbon, jute or raffia to attach die-cuts or add accents.

    • A sticker machine can be used to make an element adhesive. Attach any element -- ribbon, small pieces of cloth, or die-cuts -- to a background page or cardstock, then use glitter gel pens, markers or rubber stamps for additional embellishment.
