This cheery, colorful spring album was created using the same technique.

Springtime often causes some croppers to be on edge -- the page edge, that is. Here, Andrea Grossman uses spring-themed border stickers to create graduated spring pages, alive with color and creativity!

    Materials:

    Color photographs
Scrapbook with removable pages or background paper in spring hues (at least 3 sheets)
Thin stickers stripes in spring colors
    Wide lace sticker border
    Small spring mirror-image stickers
    Ruler
    Pencil
    Craft knife
    Small piece of cardstock

    1. Begin by looking at the colors and themes of the photos before selecting paper and stickers. Once you have selected the stickers and paper, begin working on what will be the third page of the scrapbook.

    2. Page 3 will have the largest element, and the pages in front will be trimmed shorter -- or graduated -- to reveal the pattern on the page underneath (when assembled). Apply lace border to top edge of page 3.

    3. Add a pastel stripe directly underneath the lace border to accent and add color.

    4. Then, place page 2 in front of page 3 (figure A) to determine amount to be trimmed. Use ruler and pencil to mark, then use craft knife to cut away excess paper to reveal the border on page 3.

    5. Extend a decorative sticker from the top edge of page 2 (figure B). Align and adhere a mirror image sticker to the back of the first sticker.

    6. Finally, decorate page 1, carrying the color scheme from page 2 and 3. Embellish as desired using spring stickers, then add a title card (figure C) by trimming a small piece of cardstock with the lacy border used on page 3 and a matching sticker motif used on page 2.
