Check out Dee Greunig's technique for creating multi-colored stamped images!

Dee Greunig uses a special resist paper and multi-colored ink to create fun, funkadelic backgrounds!

    Materials:

    brayer
    magic Resist Paper
    multi-colored ink pad
    rubber stamps
    brush markers
    plain white paper or cardstock
    scissors
    acid-free adhesive or glue stick

    1. First, roll brayer over the multi-colored ink pad (figure A).

    2. Apply in to Magic Resist paper to reveal the pattern (paper will appear white until ink is applied). Roll brayer vigorously. The multi-colored ink will create an almost tie-dyed appearance (figure B).

    3. Then, choose a rubber stamp motif to coordinate with the colors and theme of both the photos and background.

    4. Use brush markers to ink a stamp (use multiple colors if desired).

    5. Press stamp onto white paper and lift straight up to remove stamp.

    6. Use a second die-cut rubber stamp in the same motif to stamp over the first. After stamp has dried, use scissors to cut stamped motifs from paper.

    7. Apply photos and journal. Arrange and affix stamped motifs around the photos.
