Harold Goodman demonstrates an easy-to-complete winter page -- perfect for beginner scrapbookers!

    Materials:

    Album with top-loading sheets
    Silver adhesive letters
    Black scrapbook page
    White paper for snow
Various colors of plain paper (for accents)
    Silver gel pen
    Removal and permanent roll-on adhesives
    Decorative-edged scissors
    Large diameter acid-free glue stick
    Pressure-sensitive photo corners
    Winter-themed die-cuts and stickers
    Winter photos
    Small acid-free glue stick

    1. First, apply hand torn snow to bottom of first page of spread (figure A. If desired, use temporary adhesive to check placement before adding permanent adhesive to adhere the element.

    2. Use silver gel pen to embellish with silver dots or stars (figure B) and add silver letters for names or title.

    3. On next page of spread, adhere theme header "Snow Days" printed on white paper that has been trimmed with decorative-edged scissors (figure C). Use large acid-free glue stick to adhere. (Tip:Using a wide glue stick saves time when applying to wide page elements like the featured page header.)

    4. Begin adding embellishments, die-cuts (figure D) and stickers to complement the winter theme. (Tip Use small glue stick to pick up the smallest pieces -- like "confetti" -- from work surface. This manipulates the pieces as well as coating them with glue -- in one motion!)
