Alison Bergquist demonstrates her technique for altering one template to create a variety of looks. Materials: Paper doll template Pencil Craft knife Assorted paper (for hair and clothes) Pens - Begin by holding selected template down while tracing one half with pencil (figure A). To hide marks, the template can also be traced onto the back surface of paper.
- Reverse the template, align and draw the second half to match the first (figure B).
- Next, create clothes, hair and features (figure C) from desired paper and pen colors.
