Mix it up! Combine elements from several different stickers to create unique embellishments. Watch this video to see more of Stephanie Rahmatulla's technique.

Can't find a sticker with the exact features you're looking for? Try combining stickers to achieve a custom look! Designer Stephanie Rahmatulla demonstrates a technique that will allow you to change hair, facial expressions, and clothing as desired.

    Materials:

    Variety of stickers
    Craft knife
    Scissors
    Empty coated sticker sheet

    1. Use an old sticker sheet as a work surface.

    2. Find elements on a few stickers that will work for your project. In this example, the body and uniform is cut away from the sticker sheet. Use scissors to cut desired details away (figure A).

    3. Use craft knife to lift piece and position on work sheet.

    4. Then, cut a corresponding portion (in this example, one with feminine facial features) from another sticker that will work with the first. Attach to first sticker portion (figure B).

    5. Add finishing details. (Rahmatulla adds arms and a basketball to complement her page theme.)

    6. Add sticker to page.
