From the heading to the "autograph" block, journaling stickers help preserve the memories from a special night.

Designer Bev George ties the elements of a themed page together using journaling stickers.

    • Themed stickers with a title, poem and room for journaling (figure A) are selected to complement the "Homecoming 2001" page.

    • Journaling stickers often include a backing with a grid (figure B) that can simplify hand-journaling. George suggests doing all journaling before removing sticker and adding it to the book. This can eliminate the likelihood of mistakes on the page.

    • A fine-tipped marker or journaling pen (figure C) works best for writing between gridlines and for adding details to letters.

    • Once complete, George suggests mounting the journaling stickers on a liner sheet or piece of cardstock before mounting to the page.
