Designer Jeanne Wine-Reeds shares some user-friendly and time-saving embellishments to create a page that celebrates friendship!

    • Pre-cut, perforated die letters are selected. They can be attached to scrapbook pages with foam adhesive dots for a look of dimension.

    • Die-cut shapes that are both festive and functional (figure A) are another time-saving element for croppers. The shapes can be embellished as desired.

    • Eyelets are used to add charm to photo corners. Wine-Reeds attaches punched flowers to the photo corner, then pops an eyelet through both (figure B). The completed corners are used to embellish a double-matted photograph.

    • A large circle punch and star die-cut (figure C) are combined to make a "sunny face" for the page. Chalk is applied to detail the edges of both shapes. Smaller punched shapes are used to add facial features to the sun.

    • Wire is used to create small embellishments to die-cut flowers (figure D).

    • Finally, a yellow die-cut banner is placed at the top of the page for the heading.
