Adhesives do more than adhere photos to a scrapbook page. Did you know that the wrong adhesives can actually destroy your precious photographs? Adhesives come in dry or liquid form, but be advised: dry won't damage photographs. - Tape runners are also called "dry-lines." They come in a dispenser figure A) that allows application of the adhesive directly onto the back of the photograph.
- Photo splits are similar to double-sided tape. Splits (figure B) have adhesive on both sides to mount directly onto the back of the photo.
- Photo corners can be colored, metallic or clear. Photo corners create a "pocket" that secures the corners of each photo. Decorative corners can be handmade.
- Glue pens, sticks and pens are easy to find and use for securing photographs but may be a little more permanent.
When creating a scrapbooking budget, $4 to $8 should be allotted for adhesives. Make your own memories by subscribing to Memory Makers® magazine: Memory Makers magazine 12365 N. Huron St. Suite 500 Denver, CO 80234 Phone: 800-366-6465 Website: Memory Makers magazine.com DIY's Scrapbooking Glossary
