The ribbon corners and photographs in this alternate design page were run through the Xyron together, making the backs of all of them adhesive.
    1. Use the rotary cutter to cut 1-inch strips of the teal and brown stripe paper. Be sure to cut paper along the vertical line.

    2. Run each 1-inch strip through the Xyron 150 to apply permanent adhesive (figure A).

    3. Remove the paper strips from the adhesive backing and affix to the solid teal paper. The darkest stripe should be lined up with the outside edge of the paper.

    4. Use the rotary cutter to trim the two-tone bamboo paper and create mats for each newspaper article and each photo to be incorporated into your page. Mats should be 1/4-inch wider on all sides than the image being framed.

    5. Apply permanent adhesive to the bamboo paper with the Xyron 900 and the permanent adhesive cartridge.

    6. Position mats across the two-page layout, leaving ample open space between each item, and adhere to the page

    7. Use the Xyron 900 to apply permanent adhesive to the photos, and adhere to the center of the corresponding mat.

    8. To affix the newspaper articles, replace the permanent adhesive cartridge in the Xyron 900 with the laminate/adhesive cartridge. Run newspaper through the Xyron 900, using the included cutter to remove from the unit (figure B).

    9. Trim newspaper clippings, remove adhesive backing, and affix to the remaining mats.

    10. To finish the page, use Sticky Spots to add a single teal paper chrysanthemum to each page.
