Let your scrapbooking come full circle! Circles are a great way to punch up your pages.

Circles are a great way to accent photos (as mats) or create a complete page design (as background patterns or design elements). On location in New York, Joy Macdonell shares her technique for creating circle collages.

    Materials:

    Circle Scissor™
    Black mini-letter stickers
    Blue cardstock
    Grey cardstock
    Black cardstock
    Vellum

    1. Cut a variety of circles using the Circle Scissor. Be sure to vary both the sizes and colors of the circles.

    2. Mat photo using a thin grey mat, thick blue mat, and thin black mat. Enhance the mats with circles.

    3. Cut strips of grey cardstock approximately 4 inches wide. Use Circle Scissor to cut a curve in the end of each strip.

    4. Using the Circle Scissor, cut three circles from grey cardstock. Then, cut three black mats 5 sizes larger than the grey circles. Adhere title to circles using mini stickers, then adhere to grey rounded strip.

    5. Cut a half circle from grey cardstock and adhere to the bottom center of the page.

    6. Print title on vellum using the computer. Adhere to page using mini brads.
